CDCFIB gives update on conclusion of recruitment exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has said its ongoing recruitment exercise will be concluded within the next four weeks.

The board, in a statement signed by its Secretary, Maj Gen. (Rtd) A M Jibril, on Friday, said the recruitment process had reached its final stages following the large number of applications received from across the country.

According to the CDCFIB, the remaining stages of the exercise would be completed within four weeks, after which successful candidates would be notified through the official recruitment platform.

The board said the process was being handled with consideration for justice, merit, federal character, due process and the operational requirements of the four services under its supervision.

It also said it was deliberately avoiding rushing the exercise because of the need to ensure a comprehensive and transparent selection process.

The CDCFIB acknowledged the high level of anticipation among applicants and said the volume of applications had placed an obligation on the board to ensure fairness and transparency throughout the selection process.

According to the board, candidates will be informed through the CDCFIB recruitment platform at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng once the process is completed.

The board thanked applicants for their patience and assured them that their wait would be rewarded.

The statement reads, “The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) recognizes the tremendous amount of anticipation that exists around the current recruitment process.

“The large number of applications received across the country places upon the board the duty of ensuring that there is a comprehensive, just, and transparent selection into the services, both on the part of the applicants and the processes involved.

“It is the intention of the CDCFIB not to rush the entire recruitment process, but to bring it to completion without any prejudice to the principles of justice, merit, federal character, due process, and the operational requirements of the four services.

“The recruitment process has taken place, and it has now reached its last stages, which will be completed within four weeks. Once this process is completed, candidates will be informed via the recruitment platform at the following web address: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
