Burna Boy apologises to Nigerian blogs as he calls out foreign media

Nigerian Afrobeats and dancehall singer, Burna Boy has taken a swipe at international media organizations over their daily reports about him.

He drew attention to a recent post by The Shade Room claiming that he just shaved his beard, but the self acclaimed African Giant said the were making reference to a makeover he did in 2021.

Burna Boy expressed disappointment over their decision to report things as insignificant who he is sleeping with or who he gave money to, while overlooking his actual musical accomplishments.

The Grammy winner took to social media to say that he wants to apologise to Nigerian blogs for attacking them last year, saying he thought their stupidity was unique.

He wrote; “To all you weirdos who depend on @theshaderoom @theshadeborough And other weirdo blogs for your daily news. I shaved my beard in 2021 NOT now.

“But it’s good to know that for all the history I’ve been making and records I’ve been setting and breaking, You PARASITES ONLY CARE ABOUT WHO I MIGHT HAVE FED, who I’m fucking and stupiid shit like “Burna boy shaved his beard”.

“I gotta apologise to Nigerian blogs now cuz I thought their stupidity was unique, I didn’t know they learned all they know from the West.”

CorrectNG recalls that in November, Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy expressed readiness to pay Nigerian bloggers to stop publishing articles about him.

The controversial entertainer said he was aware that he had paid any blog for publicity or to avoid posting negative reports about him before. Burna Boy called out some media organisations via his Twitter account on Friday, and urged them deliberate on a price and pass it to him to ‘settle them’.
