Brandi Glanville is speaking out on the case most people are avoiding: Kim Zolciak’s 15-year-old son.
The reality star addressed the allegations against the teenager on her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast. She called herself a hypocrite for speaking on the matter involving an underage person.
Kim Zolciak’s son was arrested on August 17, 2026, and was charged with aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. The reality star defends her son against the allegations. Zolciak and her ex-husband, Troy Biermann, divorced years back.
Glanville addressed the allegations against Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr. on her podcast, “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered.” She said she normally believes underage kids shouldn’t be dragged into the spotlight over their parents’ fame. Still, she admitted this case struck a nerve because she’s a mother of boys herself.
She explained that she has taught her children about consent. According to her, they couldn’t even hold hands or hug a girl without asking first. She also revealed that she is very protective of her children.
Glanville acknowledged the contradiction in speaking about a minor’s case at all, according to TMZ. She called herself a “hypocrite” for talking about a minor.
“I’m saying we shouldn’t talk about kids that are underage, but I’m sitting here talking about it,” she said. Her honesty about the double standard didn’t go unnoticed by listeners.

KJ Biermann, Zolciak’s son, was arrested on August 17 and charged with aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. The charges stem from an alleged incident involving a female classmate back in April. He remains in custody without bond as the case moves forward.
The alleged victim reported the incident occurred inside a gym changing area. An officer was dispatched to North Fulton Hospital on April 24, 2024, after the alleged assault was reported. Investigators reportedly looked into the claims for months before the arrest.
The 15-year-old is being charged as an adult under Georgia law covering certain violent felonies involving teenagers. A hearing has since been scheduled. The victim claimed that the reality TV star’s son suggested they go to a co-ed sauna.
The incident allegedly happened in the family changing room. The Blast reported that the victim claimed Biermann began to touch her inappropriately and digitally penetrated her vag-na, despite her refusal.
Kim Zolciak Is Standing By Her Son
4Zolciak speaks out in her son’s defense. She released a statement shortly after his arrest became public. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star said her son denies getting involved with the victim.
The reality star called the allegations “reckless” through a representative. “The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling,” the statement read. She added that he denies any involvement and claimed he passed a polygraph test.
She said she remains confident the facts will eventually clear her son’s name. “The fact that he’s been arrested and is being held without bond is a tragedy. He is not only presumed innocent, but is in fact innocent,” the mother said. Page Six reported that she asked the public to allow a proper investigation rather than spreading the allegations.

His father, Kroy, had to perform the Heimlich maneuver both times to dislodge the food from his windpipe. That same year, she shared that Kash, her son, had recovered from eye surgery and had perfect vision in the affected eye. He had undergone the procedure in 2017 after their dog Sinn attacked him, nearly leaving him blind in one eye.
During the former couple’s divorce battle, Zolciak made serious allegations against Kroy in court. She claimed he physically abused their children and failed to shield them from his sexual relationships.
She also alleged that Kroy threw one of their sons over a couch during an argument. She also said that he threw a pan at one child’s head. Zolciak made the claims as part of her fight for custody of their minor children.

The podcaster said she wants her children to be more outgoing but also avoid hard substances. Her comments brought a lot of backlash from fans, with some criticizing her while some believed she was being sarcastic by calling her kids “boring.”
“I can’t believe fans don’t get her sarcastic humor by now and take everything so f-cking literally,” a fan said. Glanville also made it clear she was proud of their clean lifestyle, even while poking fun at it.
The mother of two has an interesting relationship with her ex-husband. In 2024, she linked up with her husband and his new wife for a Christmas celebration. She preached her love for her children and the necessity to be at peace with everyone, as shared by The Blast.
