Content creator Amarachi Amusi, also known as Ashmusy, has said she will not be intimidated and plans to report any violence or harassment to the authorities after reality TV star Phyna allegedly threatened to beat her up, claiming Ashmusy asked the organisers of an upcoming celebrity boxing match to remove her.
The content creator, while responding to Phyna’s accusation, also denied asking organisers of a multi-million naira boxing deal to drop the reality star.
This comes after Phyna, via her Instagram story on Thursday, alleged that she introduced Ashmusy to the organisers after being approached about participating in the boxing event.
According to Phyna, she had been in talks with the organisers since February and was asked to recommend other personalities who could participate. She said she suggested Ashmusy on August 19 and later connected her with the organisers.
The reality star cum streamer also alleged that after Ashmusy accepted the offer, she later told the organisers to drop her and replace her with someone else.
She said, “Ashmusy, you’re evil. A company reached out to me in February that I should come and fight a Ghanaian. But along the line, something came up for her; she said she had a wedding on the day of the fight.
“It was as if I was part of the organisers because they called me to help reach out to so-and-so person. So I was just contributing and giving names of people that I think they should reach out to.
“While some of them will not agree for the money, some will say I will beat them. So last Wednesday, August 19, 2026, I suggested Ashmusy to the organiser. They said no problem, that I should talk to her.”
Ashmusy, however, said she had not asked the organisers to remove Phyna from the event.
“Phyna I never asked anyone to drop you, neither did I advocate for your downfall in any way. You approached me and I sincerely wasn’t sure, I’ve been contemplating since then till date hence my delayed conclusion,” she wrote.
She said she was unsure at first about joining the fight and had been thinking about the offer since Phyna reached out to her.
Ashmusy said she told the organisers she would rather fight someone else if she chose to take part.
She explained that her choice was not because of any bad feelings toward Phyna, but because she felt uneasy fighting someone she got along with.
She said she asked the organisers if she could pick a different opponent, and they let her choose someone else for the match.
