The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gboko Local Government Area, Terfa Iorgiilim, has reaffirmed his support for Governor Hyacinth Alia’s second-term ambition. Iorgiilim made the declaration during a reception for the Mbavarakaa community in Mbatiav, describing the governor’s re-election as a “Mbaavarakaa project” and a foregone conclusion.
At the event, Iorgiilim distributed palliatives to community members, which he said were provided through Governor Alia’s goodwill. He highlighted Alia’s ties to the community through his maternal lineage, noting that delivering the items was a personal responsibility to ensure the governor’s support reached his people directly.
Iorgiilim urged residents to back Governor Alia’s 2027 bid and avoid actions that could undermine it. He emphasized that re-electing Alia would reward his performance over the past three years, particularly the numerous developmental projects and initiatives he has brought to the Mbavarakaa community.
