Alleged 184.5kg cocaine Dealing: Court Freezes KC Luxury’s Landed Properties, Tesla Truck Car, N1.5bn Cash -By Paul Sanusi 

Justice Musa Kakaki of a Federal High Court, Lagos has ordered the preservation of several landed properties, luxury vehicles and bank funds belonging linked to social media influencer, Afolabi Michael Kazeem a.k.a. KC Luxury and his associate, for allegedly being proceeds of unlawful activities, including drug trafficking and dealing.

Justice Musa Kakaki made the order in suit numbered FHC/L/MISC/1320/26 following an Exparte motion supported by an affidavit sworn to by Gochin Cedric Kichime, and other documentary exhibits, filed and moved by Abu Ibrahim, a senior lawyer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

NDLEA had filed the motion ex-parte seeking the preservation of assets reasonably believed to be proceeds of drug-related activities.

The assets include properties in Ikoyi, Lekki and Obalende, as well as a hotel in Egbeda, Lagos.

Among the properties preserved by the court is Block 75A, Surulere Way, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, a property described as Block 33, Plot 46AI, Lekki Peninsula, Eti-Osa Local Government Area, with Plan No. LS/D/LA6517/33/46AL, two parcels of land along Pike Street, Obalende, measuring approximately 886.726 square metres and 443.233 square metres respectively.

The court further placed Next Level Hotel & Suites, located at Plot 246, 21 Road, Egbeda, Lagos, under preservation.

Three luxury vehicles were also listed in the order: a grey Toyota Lexus RX 350, a 2025 Toyota Hilux and a white 2025 Tesla Cybertruck. All three vehicles were described as unregistered.

The court in the interim freezed the sum of N1,090,000,800 billion in FCMB Personal Business Account No. 2001904472 belonging to Rabiu Kabiru Lawal, and the sum of N59,261,848 in Mallamawa Ventures in Zenith Bank account.

The order also freezed all funds in FCMB Corporate Account No. 2004914061 in the name of Next Level Records & Logistics Solution Limited, as well as funds in First Bank Personal Account No. 2006407241 belonging to Boniface Freeman Ochoche Sule.

After considering the application and supporting documents, Justice Kakaki granted the preservation order over the listed assets.

The judge also directed that the properties and bank accounts covered by the order be advertised in widely circulated national newspapers within 14 days.

The matter has been adjourned to October 14, 2026, for report of compliance.
