Airtel Africa Plc has announced that its Chairman, Sunil Bharti Mittal, and Non-Executive Director, Gopal Vittal, have been appointed as non-independent non-executive directors of BT Group Plc, effective September 15, 2025.
The appointments strengthen Airtel Africa’s representation at the board level of the UK-based telecommunications giant.
According to the company’s disclosure, there are no matters requiring additional disclosure under UK Listing Rule 6.4.6.
