The Rotary Club of Oluyole-Estate, Ibadan, has installed Rotarian Kehinde Omolara Adeoye as its 20th president and third female president for the 2026–2027 Rotary year, with a pledge to strengthen humanitarian service and execute projects with lasting impact.
Adeoye, while accepting the leadership mantle, expressed gratitude to God and members of the club for the confidence reposed in her, promising to lead with integrity, dedication and fairness in advancing the growth and progress of the club.
She said her administration would align its programmes with the Rotary theme, “Create Lasting Impact,” with a focus on humanitarian projects that respond to community needs, while strengthening membership and encouraging greater participation in Rotary activities.
The new president called for unity and teamwork among members, stressing that effective leadership could only be achieved through collective effort.
She urged Rotarians to support the administration financially and materially, as well as through active participation in identified projects across Rotary’s areas of focus.
Adeoye also appreciated her predecessor, Rotarian Gbola Olayiwola, members of the Board, Past Presidents and other members for their contributions to the development of the club.
She equally acknowledged the support of her husband and children throughout her Rotary journey.
Earlier, the outgoing president, Olayiwola, described his tenure as the 19th president of the club as one of the most rewarding experiences of his Rotary journey.
He expressed gratitude to members for their dedication, unity and generosity, which he said contributed to the achievements recorded during his tenure.
Highlighting the major accomplishments of his administration, Olayiwola identified the roofing of the club’s clubhouse as one of its most significant achievements.

According to him, about N11 million was invested in the roofing project, which he described as a lasting legacy for the club and a foundation for completing the building.
He acknowledged the contributions of Past Presidents Abiola Genesys Adedigba and Tola Akinola to the clubhouse project, as well as Rotarian Moriam Fadeyi-Lawal for her professionalism in delivering the roofing work.
Olayiwola expressed hope that members would sustain their support to enable the completion of the doors and windows and eventual hosting of the club’s investiture at the facility.
The outgoing president also disclosed that the club participated actively in District activities, including the Polio Eradication Campaign, while 14 members attended the last District Conference.
He further commended Tola Akinola for sponsoring 10 youths to the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) at a cost of N500,000.
Olayiwola said the club recorded membership growth during his tenure, admitting five new members without losing any existing member.
As he handed over the leadership to Adeoye, he urged members to give the new president and her Board the same cooperation and commitment extended to his administration.
He stressed that although leadership had changed, the club’s mission of serving humanity, promoting goodwill and strengthening fellowship remained unchanged.
