Yesterday, thousands of Ghanaians took to the streets of Accra to demonstrate against the bad governance of the Akufo Addo-led government.

During the protest, the police officers performed their duties effectively and without incident. This, as a member of the Economic Fighters League (EFL), reflects positively on Dr. Akuffo Dampare’s competency and incorruptibility.

Adams took to his social media and wrote; “We have IGP Who has never taken Bribe before in his Lifetime as Police! Leadership is what comes out of you! Today #FixTheCountry demo was proof of Who we have as IGP.”

Several others have lauded the Ghana Police Service and its leadership for their excellent handling of the hundreds of protestors who flooded the streets.

Many see Dr. Akuffo Dampare, who recently took over as IGP, as a capable and incorruptible police officer who has demonstrated his skill and professionalism in any sector of the Ghana Police Service he has served.

Dr. Akuffo Dampare took over the IGP position from James Oppong Boanuh who recently retired from duty after servicing the country for so many years in the service.
