Goodevening and thank you for the great work you are doing educating our people. My name is Chinasa and I am from Enugu, South Eastern Nigeria. I am 29years old and married. I got married in 2018 and since them I have been unable to conceive. I and my husband are presently seeing a gynaecologist for infertility treatment… The gynaecologist screened both of us for infertility. My husband did seminal fluid analysis and hormonal profile.. His results all came out normal.. His sperm count was normal.

I did a scan and the scan revealed that I have very big uterine fibroids…. The doctor said that is the reason I have not been able to conceive and also the reason for my recurrent miscarriages. The gynaecologist told me I would require fibroid surgery to remove the fibroids. He said it was the first step for me to get pregnant..

Doctor, I and my hubby are scared of surgery. I have heard so many bad and good things about going to the operation theatre for surgery. Because of this I have resorted to herbal treatment for my fibroid.. I have been advised to take all sorts of herbs that have the ability to shrink or melt fibroids. I have been taking them but no positive result yet. Just recently, a family friend of mine introduced Dr Iguedos Goko cleanser herbal mixture to me. She said Goko cleanser has the ability to cure fibroids. She told me to take the mixture morning and evening to get the desired result. My friend assured me that Goko cleanser can shrink my fibroids, make my womb whole again and prepare my womb to carry a pregnancy.

Doctor, how true is this? can Goko cleanser cure fibroid?

Chinasa. I am deeply sorry for your infertility travails. Infertility is a very common problem of couples globally. I am glad your husband is willing and ready to submit himself for fertility tests and screening. Infertility is not a woman problem alone, it is a couple problem. That your gynaecologist was able to pin-point the cause of the infertility to uterine fibroid is a problem half-solved. Please I think you will need to heed his counsel of fibroid removal surgery called myomectomy.Right now, it is the most viable or practicable way of getting rid of your large fibroids. Don’t get me wrong, there are other ways of removing fibroid without surgery such as uterine fibroid embolization (UTE) and with medications. Treatment with medications takes time and most times it fails. Uterine fibroid embolisation is safer but has a high rate of recurrence. Moreover, it is very expensive. Open fibroid surgery is your best bet and results are instantaneous. The surgeon will be able to get rid of all the fibroid masses in your womb creating space for you to conceive and for your baby to grow. Madam, I strongly think you should go back to your gynecologist for the myomectomy.

As for whether Goko cleanser cure fibroid? The answer is a big NO. Goko cleanser made up of Vernonia amygdalina (bitter leaf), Cajanus cajan, Zingiber officinale, Allium sativum, Saccharum officinarum, and Caramel does not have the ability to shrink or cure uterine fibroids. All the hype you have heard out there about Goko cleanser curing or treating fibroids is a big lie or at best a scam. Thank you.
