The duo decide to start a family without marrying. As a result, they gave birth to two of their children and stayed in a stable relationship until 2009.

Shephard Lost Her Father in 2017

Following the tragic separation of her parents, yet another grief hit Hannah as she had to lose her father. Sam took his last breath on July 27, 2017, in his house located in Midway, Kentucky. He died at the age of 73 due to complications from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.

His funeral was held in a private space in the presence of his children and well-wishers.

Jane Graduated From Fordham University

Hannah reportedly completed her former education at Stillwater High School Minnesota followed by Sarah Lawrence College. Following this, she decided to pursue her interest in history and joined Fordham University.

Jane was appreciated for her 2013 paper, “Vanished in Plain Sight: Scots-Irish Presbyterian in Wisconsin, 1830-1890.” She also received the Loomie Prize for it which was manually provided for the history student who wrote the best seminar paper for MA and Ph.D.

In contrast to the members of her family, Jane decided to get into a profession in a different field. She is a professor, researcher, and educator. Hannah has worked professionally with several reputed educational institutions such as the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.
