El-Rufai: In The Next 10 Years, A Christian Will Rule Kaduna State – Hon. Godfrey Gaiya

Hon. Godfrey Gaiya, newly-appointed special adviser on Political Matters to House of Representatives Speaker, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas has expressed confidence that a Christian will become governor of Kaduna State in the next 10 years. According to the report published by the Sun, he accused the immediate past governor of the state, Nasir El-Rufai, of treating the people in Southern Kaduna badly. Gaiya claimed that El-Rufai wanted to prove a point that Christians don’t have the numbers to win elections in the state, adding that he deliberately set out to impoverish the people of the zone.

Hon. Gaiya claimed that the Southern Kaduna people were impoverished over the years by the immediate past governor, making it clear that they are happy that his tenure has ended. He also stated that a Christian will rule Kaduna State in the next 10 years.

“We thank God that the Southern Kaduna people are still alive and kicking today. To be frank with you, El-Rufai wants to prove a point that Christians don’t have the number to win elections and rule. In doing so, he deliberately set out to impoverish the people of the zone. Like I said that era is gone and I can assure you that we will bounce back. In the next 10 years, a Christian will rule Kaduna State.”
