INEC deleted FCT presidential election results on BVAS machine, forensic expert claims

A Digital Forensic Expert, Hitler Nnwuala, testified on Thursday at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) deleted all the results of the presidential elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) under the guise of preparing for the March 18, 2023 governorship election.

Nnwuala, who was called as an expert witness by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in their petition challenging the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election, provided his evidence during examination-in-chief by the Petitioners’ counsel, Chief Chris Uche (SAN).

He stated that he examined 110 Biomodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) machines as a sample material from the FCT.

The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate during the February 25 general election, Peter Obi has congratulated Miss Ifeoma Amuche, a Nigerian student who recently emerged as the best graduating student at South West University, China.

Amuche delivered a valedictory speech in Chinese on behalf of the graduating students at South West University.

Reacting to her achievement, Obi said she had brought honour to Nigeria and established herself globally through her outstanding academic results.

In a statement her Twitter handle on Friday, the former Anambra State governor affirmed that every Nigerian youth could attain their full potential if the nation made the right educational investments.

Bandits Kill Three Farmers, Kidnap Several In Kaduna

Photo Credit: Channels TelevisionThree people have been reportedly killed and several others kidnapped by bandits who attacked the Sabon Layi community in the Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Although the police and Birnin-Gwari local government authorities have yet to comment on the incident, a community leader, Anas Musa, confirmed the attack to Channels Television on Friday.

NFF Extends Tenure Of Katsina FA Board

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has approved the extension of the tenure of the executives of the Katsina State Football Association (FA) to September 2023. Mr Nasir Sani-Gide, the state FA spokesperson, confirmed this on Thursday in Katsina.

He noted that the original tenure ended on Thursday, June 22, 2023. According to him, the extension was announced in a letter dated June 16, 2023, and signed by the state’s FA Secretary, Mr Abubakar Galadima.
