“I Told Davido that we won’t Blow if we don’t Rebel, we Sold his Father’s TV to Enter Studio” B-Red.
Nigerian singer, Adebayo Adeleke, popularly known as B-Red has recounted how he advised his cousin, Davido to revolt against his family and how they ended up selling the music star father’s television in order for them to release a song, while they were still trying to achieve fame in the music industry. He made such disclosure in an interview.
The singer who spoke about such issue during an interview with Echooroom few minutes ago, revealed that his first encounter with legendary afro beat singer, Wizkid was when he asked who Davido was after his song, “Back When” was trending during the such period.
According to B-Red, he told Wizkid that Davido is his cousin and he is coming to the industry with a dynamic force. Speaking about Burna Boy, B-Red revealed that he first met him in Port Harcourt, adding that he was running after their car and screaming that he loves Davido.
B-Red on speaking about his influence on Davido’s music career, the singer revealed that;
“I was the person that called David and told him we have to be angry, we have to rebel, if we don’t rebel we will not blow. I went to Davido father’s house, I busted the door with my leg, I told David let’s go. Me and David sold twenty televisions in his father’s house, 30 thousand that’s what we use to enter studio”.
