El-Rufai Is Only After His Own Personal Agenda, And Not For Nigerian Muslims – CAN Chairman

A viral video of El-Rufai trended online, and it triggered some controversial comments online. In the video, he was seen speaking on Muslim-Muslim ticket and how they helped the APC retain power in Kaduna and also how they assisted president Tinubu in winning the 2023 presidential election.

In the video clip, El- Rufai while addressing a congregation said that the Muslims clerics in Kaduna alledgedly supported the APC presidential candidate and he won the election and has been inaugurated. The CAN chairman identified as John Joseph Hayab, debunked his statement and said that Tinubu’s victory was as a result of collective voting, and Christians participated as well.

The CAN chairman in Kaduna state, John Joseph Hayab made a state while speaking in an interview on Arise TV on Wednesday saying;

“According to the Kaduna state CAN chairman, El-Rufai was only pushing his own personal agenda and not speaking for the Kaduna and Nigerian Muslims”.
