Tinubu Must Be Involved In Who Becomes Senate President & Speaker Of House Of Reps- Sunny Moniedafe

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Sunny Moniedafe has advised president Bola Tinubu not to make the same mistakes Muhammadu Buhari made.

Speaking in an interview with Arise , the APC chieftain argued that former president Muhammadu Buhari made three mistakes that Bola Tinubu should not repeat.

He said one of the mistakes Buhari made was that when he came into power, he was not interested in who became the president of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Sunny Moniedafe noted that president Bola Tinubu should ensure that he is involved in the emergence of the senate president and the speaker of the House of Representatives. He said if the president fails to discharge his duties as president effectively, people would laugh at the All Progressives Congress.

He said “Buhari made three mistakes, he said he was not interested in who becomes leader of the Senate or House of Reps, it was a big mistake, you must be involved. Number two, he didn’t appoint ministers on time, number three he said, whether you are PDP or APC, it doesn’t matter as long as you are not corrupt. I don’t expect president Tinubu to make those mistakes.

“He (Tinubu) must be involved in who becomes senate president and speaker house of reps. You must make sure your cabinet is out in no time. I’m sorry to disappoint people who say we should have a government of national unity. If APC fails, they will laugh at us. We have people in APC who knows what APC means. They will carry the battle on and make sure it’s implemented. Appoint people from APC, who know what to do, they will do it.”
