Former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan talked with the media about the outgoing government of Nigeria and the incoming government of Nigeria. Jonathan said that when he lost the presidential election to Buhari in 2015, his ministers and others who worked with him were afraid.

Goodluck Jonathan also said that he conceded defeat to Buhari because he wasn’t selfish, he thought about the welfare of Nigeria more than his own. In his words, he said “When I lost the presidential election to Buhari in 2015, my ministers were all afraid that Buhari will send all of us to prison”.

“But that didn’t happen, and God has helped him to lead Nigeria through out all this 8 years. And fortunately, he handed over power to his fellow party man”.

Undoubtedly, what made Jonathan’s ministers to be scared at that time was because Nigeria hated their government at that time, and was yearning for change, so they thought they will be punished by being sent to prison.
