Video: “David Adeleke OON” Davido Reacts as FG Confers Him a National Honour Award

David Adeleke, better known as Davido, is a well-known international singer from Nigeria who has received a national honor award from the federal government Nigeria.

Davido announced the news on his Instagram account, sharing a screenshot of the lists of recipients of the same honor as him and highlighting his own name.

The musician, who was grateful for the honor, captioned the picture “David Adeleke OON” and added the Nigerian flag.

Ademola Adeleke, his uncle, praised him for being a good representative of Osun State as well as for making the Adeleke family proud.

He wrote, “Congratulations Davido on your conferment with Nigeria’s national honour award, Officer of the Order of Niger (OON). You have made the family proud and Osun as a state.”
