President Buhari’s administration, according to Governor of Benue State Samuel Ortom, in an interview with the ARISE TV, “took the country from top to bottom,” but he has been forgiven and does not require Ortom to move to Niger.

I have forgiven President Muhammadu Buhari because I am a born-again Christian. Although he has taken us from top to bottom, this does not imply we should keep placing the blame on him. Thank God for the four-year term limit; after that, you can seek reelection for a second term, and so on.

According to Ortom, “As a result, we anticipate that the next administration will support our people by ensuring their security, economic growth, and peace. We have endured suffering for eight years. I’ve pardoned him in my eyes. He doesn’t need to travel to Niger; instead, he should stay here with us, and we should all stay here and work with the new government that God will install; with His grace, we will once more move from bottom to top.

Even though Ortom is aware of the financial support given to the Benue people in order for him to lose the election, he added that he has accepted this as God’s will and does not see a need to file a lawsuit. Ortom was quoted saying in an Interview with Arise TV.
