Guinness World Record , however, stated that it will review all the evidence first before officially confirming the record.

She achieved the feat after cooking for more than 87 hours and 45 minutes, a record which was previously set by Indian chef, Lata Tondon back in 2019.

A Twitter user AlexanderDGreat has wondered why the Guinness World Record to remained silent about Hilda’s new record.

“Why is Guinness World Record not showing or talking about Hilda‘s cook-a-ton? Can’t see anything on their pages (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube),” he tweeted.

In response, GWR said; “We are aware of this amazing record attempt, we need to review all the evidence first before officially confirming a record”.

Baci, a native of Akwa Ibom State commenced the ‘cook-a-thon’ on Thursday, May 11 at Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos State.

She surpassed the 87-hour mark on Monday morning but chose not to stop the cook-a-thon as she’s now on her way to set a new Guinness World Record.
