My man dumped me over Laycon, Erica’s fight and married someone else – Lady recounts

A 26-year-old Nigerian lady has shared her heartbreak story which involved her boyfriend breaking up over an issue that she thought was not serious.

The woman known as Bimbo said they had an argument about Big Brother Naija stars, Erica and Laycon’s fight during the reality show in 2020.

According to her, they were arguing over who was at fault after Erica got disqualified and it became heated that he broke up with her that day.

She felt he was joking, but she was shocked to discover that he got married to another lady shortly after their relationhip ended.

Bimbo said she found out about his marriage to someone else when a blog reported about it and posted the pre-wedding photos.

She revealed that there was a confrontation about his decision and he informed her that he just moved on.

Speaking on her worst breakup, Bimbo said; “It was during this last BBN season, I and my boyfriend argued over who was at fault between Erica and Laycon. It became heated and he broke up with me that night.

I thought it was a joke until I saw his pre-wedding pictures on one blog the following week. His only excuse was that he moved on. They warned me about Yoruba men, I thought mine was a better version.”

Similarly, a Nigerian pharmacist has shared a relationship matter that was shared with him by one of the parties involved.

He said a girl helped her boyfriend to look for a job last year but he paid her back by marrying someone else.

The tweep known as Mr Mekzy said she reached out to him late 2022 because her boyfriend, who is a pharmacist was being underpaid at his place of work.

She asked the pharmacist to assist with getting her man a new job with another establishment.

Fast-forward to 2023, the same girl contacted Mekzy and cried out that the same boyfriend has tied the knot with another lady.

He wrote; “A lady sent me a DM late last year, asking me to help her look for a job for her boyfriend who’s a pharmacist because they owe him his salary and underpay him at the company where he works in lagos.

She DMd me today to say that he got married to someone else last week.”
