Carter Efe called out over fresh song theft, singer shares evidence
Nigerian skit-maker, Carter Efe has been called out by musician, Brite Bensons for alleged song theft.
This is the second time an artiste would be leveling allegation about claiming ownership of a song.
The singer claimed that he bought the song from Ceeza Milli with the intention of releasing it when he was ready, however, Carter Efe, suddenly previewed the same song on his Instagram story.
Brite accused the content creator of snatching the song, as he discovered that he also bought it from Ceeza Milli.
Carter had announced that he will be releasing his own version of the track on 29th September, but Brite decided to release his own first.
He then sampled both of them and noted how his own is the original while that of the skit-maker was just a copied version.
The singer shared a video of both his own version and that of Carter Efe, while asking fans to compare and contrast.

This follows the messy drama between him and Berri Tiga, whom he featured on his hit song, Machala.
The up and coming music act called out the content creator cum singer for allegedly taking credit for Machala.
He went on Instagram live to claim that he deserves the accolades and credit that the comic act is enjoying for the song.
Carter released Machala featuring Tiga, on the 29th of July, and it debuted at the 14th position of 50 on the afrobeat charts, alongside songs by top stars like Burna Boy, Davido, Rema and his idol Wizkid.
In the IG session, Berri Tiga said that he wrote the song from beginning to the end and even sang every single verse and chorus.
He made the revelation when some fans asked him if he is the person that produced the massive song.
According to him, he is 100% responsible for writing Machala lyrics and singing the entire song. Tiga went further to say that he doesn’t know why the song was taken down from all streaming platforms.
He said: “I effing sang Machala. I wrote and I sang Machala 100% bro. I wrote Machala, I sang Machala from the beginning to the end.”
