“My Wedding Ceremony Was Unplanned, I Wish I Planned It Very Well”-Dr. Pounds Reveals [Video]

Renowned Ghanaian media personality, Maximous Mensah, popularly known within the media landscape as Dr. Pounds has revealed that his wedding ceremony was unplanned but he wished he had planned it very well.

According to the entertainment radio show host, he never imagined that his wedding ceremony could have gone viral on social media despite the fact that he never planned for such publicity.

Speaking in an interview with Delorisb Frimpong Manso on the Delay show, Dr. Pounds stated that if he had known that his wedding would gain such popularity on social media, he would have planned it better.

According to Dr. Pounds, both the traditional wedding and the white wedding were held on the same day, hence he did not really spend much on the ceremony. He said most of his friends sponsored the ceremony with gifts and other items so he didn’t really had to spend much of his money on stuffs.

He revealed that most of his celebrity friends like Captain Planet, Kofi Kinaata, Kalybos, Prince David Osei, Jeneral Ntatia, Lexis Bill among others were part of his 42 grooms men.

In other news, Ghanaian dancehall musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla, well known as Stonebwoy has intimated that the Tema-based music duo, R2Bees made up of two cousins, Omar Sterling and Mugeez have been our legends before most of them emerged into the scene.

While performing on stage with R2Bees, Stonebwoy stated clearly that R2Bees have been in the music scene before the Afrobeat genre became popular, thus it makes them our legends in present times.

R2Bees who have mentored a lot of musicians in the scene at the moment especially those who emerge from Tema were being honored and celebrated by the dancehall musician who feels they need to be accorded as legends of our time.
