‎Heads of federal establishments in Zamfara State have appealed for stronger collaboration with the military to improve public service delivery as security operations continue to gain ground in the region.

‎The appeal was made during a visit to the Headquarters of Operation FANSAN YAMMA, where the delegation met with the Theatre Commander, Warrah Idris.

‎Leader of the delegation, Bello Alhaji Muhammad, praised troops for their relentless efforts in tackling insecurity and restoring peace across Zamfara and neighbouring states.

‎He said the improved security situation has made it easier for government institutions to operate and deliver services to the people.

‎“It is in recognition of your immense efforts that we have come to identify with you and appreciate what you are doing,” he said.

‎Muhammad also outlined challenges facing federal agencies in the state and called for the military’s support in overcoming them.

‎In his response, Idris stressed that security remains the foundation for effective governance, warning that no meaningful development can take place in an unstable environment.

‎“No government function can operate optimally without security,” he said.

‎He urged the officials to support the military by providing credible intelligence and helping to counter misinformation.

‎“You are in a position to educate the public and project the efforts of our troops positively,” he added.

‎The Theatre Commander assured the delegation of the military’s continued commitment to protecting lives and property and supporting government institutions.

‎Highlights of the visit included the signing of the visitors’ register and presentation of souvenirs.
