Zamfara Accord party (AP) gubernatorial flagbearer, retired AIG Musa Yusuf-Garba, felicitated Osun Gov. Ademola Adeleke on his re-election in the just-concluded governorship poll.
Yusuf-Garba, who spoke through the state party chairman, Bashir Abdullahi, at a press briefing in Gusau on Monday, described Adeleke’s victory as well deserved.
He said the victory of the Accord Party represents an important political milestone and demonstrates what can be achieved through determination and strategic leadership.
“I commend the good people of Osun for exercising their democratic rights and contributing to the strengthening of our democracy.
“The governorship candidate of the Accord Party in Zamfara, AIG Musa Yusuf-Garba, rtd, and all members of the party wish to congratulate the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his recent victory in the just-concluded Osun governorship election.
“I want to extend my warmest and heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Sen. Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State, on his well-deserved victory.
“Bte-election for a second term as Governor of Osun State in the governorship election held on Saturday, 15th August 2026,” he noted.
According to him, Adeleke’s re-election represents a renewed vote of confidence by the good people of Osun State.
“The victory places on Adeleke the responsibility of consolidating the achievements of his first term in office as Governor of Osun State.
“I also congratulate the people of Osun for exercising their democratic right and contributing to the strengthening of our democracy.
“As Adeleke prepares to embark on a second term in office, I pray that the Almighty Allah grants you wisdom, strength, good health and guidance to discharge the responsibilities entrusted to you and to take Osun State to even greater heights,” he added.
He noted that Adeleke’s re-election represents a renewed vote of confidence by the good people of Osun and places upon him the responsibility of consolidating the achievements of his first term while continuing to pursue peace, unity, development and improved welfare for the people.
The governorship candidate also congratulated the Accord National Chairman, Chief Maxwell Mgbudem, on the successful conclusion of the Osun governorship election, which led to the victory of the Accord Party.
