Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has expressed sympathy with the people of Rogo Local Government Area following a fire that damaged parts of the Rogo General Hospital on Thursday.
In a statement signed by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature, on Friday.
Yusuf described the incident as “unfortunate and deeply saddening,” stating that hospitals were e critical lifelines for communities and must remain functional and safe.
He directed that an immediate assessment of the damage be carried out and a detailed report submitted without delay.
The governor also ordered the immediate rehabilitation of the affected sections to ensure the speedy restoration of healthcare services for residents.
Yusuf assured the people of Rogo of his administration’s unwavering commitment to strengthening healthcare facilities across all 44 local government areas of the state.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
