Yunusa Tanko has reacted to the launch of the “2 Million Man March” by the Village Boys Movement in support of Peter Obi, describing the initiative as a sign of growing citizen participation in Nigeria’s political process.
In a statement shared by Dr Yunusa Tanko on his X account, Tanko said the Obidient Movement welcomed the nationwide mobilisation effort and encouraged wider public involvement. He stated, “The Obidient Movement acknowledges the growing wave of citizen-led mobilisation across the country, including the initiative by the Village Boys Movement tagged the ‘2 Million Man March and ADC Registration Drive’ in support of His Excellency, Peter Obi.”
He further added that the development reflects increasing political consciousness among Nigerians and a stronger willingness by citizens to organise and shape democratic participation.
