A young Nigerian soldier has stirred emotions across social media after sharing the voice notes his brother sent following a video he posted from the bush.
Brother’s emotional plea captured in voice note
In the voice note, the soldier’s brother pleaded: “Ogo, stop staying at where they are shooting gun. Have mercy on our parents, don’t die in Kaduna.”
The soldier, who is currently deployed in a conflict-prone area, posted a short clip showing himself in the bush, prompting concern from family and friends.
Sharing the voice note, he revealed the personal fears and worries of those left behind.

Following the release of the voice note from the young soldier’s brother, social media users have taken to platforms to express their concern, frustration, and heartbreak over the situation.
