The Coordinator of Sen. Abdul’aziz Yari’s constituency office, Alhaji Sha’ayau Sarkinfawa, has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Yari as Director-General of his Presidential Campaign for the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Sarkinfawa made the commendation while speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gusau on Saturday.
NAN reports that Yari, a former Governor of Zamfara, currently represents Zamfara West Senatorial District at the senate.
Sarkinfawa described Yari’s appointment as well deserved.
“Senator Yari is capable of leading Tinubu’s campaign considering his political value and experience.
“He has held various political positions in Zamfara and Nigeria as a whole. Yari is one of the founding fathers of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“He started his political career as State Secretary of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), later became State Chairman of the same party, a former member of the House of Representatives, and a two-term Governor of Zamfara State.
“As a former Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, I believe he is capable of leading the APC to success in the 2027 general elections in the country,” he said.
