A woman has criticised Nigerians abroad who give their children their native names, saying it leads to bullying.
The woman urged Nigerians based abroad to give their children with Muslim, Christian, or “cute” English names that the foreigners can easily pronounce.
According to her, when parents give their kids their native names, they make them susceptible to bullying from other kids who can’t pronounce their names.
She added that parents can call their kids their native names at home, but should make their official names to be English.
Her advice has sparked mixed reactions.See_More…
