A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State has sparked widespread reactions online after publicly sharing his resignation letter from the party.
Hon. Adamu Musa Kaloma drew attention on social media with a brief but striking message announcing his departure. The letter, which quickly went viral, was addressed in an unusual manner to “The pan APC – Peoples Democratic Party, Abuja.”
One-Line Resignation Stirs Debate
In the letter, Kaloma wrote a single sentence that has since dominated online conversations:
“Wike sold us, Tinubu buried us, I won’t be caught at the funeral, I resign.”

The statement appears to reference the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, suggesting internal grievances and alleged political alignments that have unsettled some members of the opposition.
Further fueling speculation, Kaloma added a cryptic remark while sharing the letter online. He wrote:
“This date is when the real Transaction with Tinubu happened. Thank you😊🙏🤝This date is when the real Transaction with Tinubu happened. Thank you.”
Though he did not provide further details, the comment has triggered debates about possible political deals and shifting loyalties ahead of future elections.
