Wike Draws Crowd On Christmas Visit To Rivers

A large crowd on Sunday welcomed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to Rumuche in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Wike’s visit formed part of his Christmas homecoming activities in the state as the year draws to a close.

The former Rivers State governor had on Saturday visited Ochigba in Ahoada East Local Government Area, where he attended an end-of-year thanksgiving service organised by a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chibudom Nwuche.

During his engagements in Emohua, Wike met with stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the area.

Addressing the gathering, the minister reaffirmed his support for President Bola Tinubu’s second-term bid.

He also made pointed remarks directed at what he described as recent converts to the president’s political camp.
