A Nigerian widow was overwhelmed with emotion as her daughter retired her from her workplace following her recent diagnosis of hypertension.
This was captured in a video shared by a user identifed as Triplets on the video-sharing platform, TikTok.

In the now-viral TikTok video, it was revealed that the woman had been a widow for over 22 years and worked d from 9 am to 5 pm daily to take care of her children.
Her income fell short, which resulted in her selling gold, jewelry, and snacks to take care of her children.
However, she resorted to borrowing loans and was often embarrassed.
Despite the financial hardship, the mother of six still had a business which she supplied almost 1,000 bottles of drinks weekly.
According to the video, which has garnered over 350k likes, she was recently diagnosed with hypertension.
Despite the diagnosis, she was still about to resume work, but one of her daughters urged her to retire and promised necessary things would be sorted out.
However, she would continue collecting her monthly salary.
In the video, the widow is seen overwhelmed with emotion as one of her daughters consoles her.
Aside from retirement, she will primarily focus on her business.
