A Nigerian lady serving in the United States military has spoken about how messages in her inbox have dropped since tensions began around the Iran conflict.
In a video shared on social media, the lady said that before the war started, many Nigerians constantly sent her direct messages asking how they could join the U.S. Navy or the American military.
However, she noted that since the conflict began, the number of people reaching out has drastically reduced.
According to her, she now receives only a few messages daily compared to the large number she used to get before the crisis.
She jokingly asked what had changed and invited those who were still interested in joining the U.S. military to send her a message if it was truly their desire.

“Before the Iran w@r started, many Nigerians kept coming to my DM asking how to join the US Navy. Since the conflict began, I haven’t seen anyone asking about joining the US military again. The DM has now reduced. I only get like 4 or 5 DMs now. What happened? Don’t you people want to join the US military again? If it’s still your heart just send me DM”
