A user on the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter) has released an audio of her father, who is currently in kidnappers’ captivity.
The lady, identified as @funkysguide, shared that her father was kidnapped, while returning from her convocation at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).
Details Of The Audio
In the audio that has gone viral online, the kidnappers demanded 5 million Naira, while her father disclosed that he has been tied up with rope since morning.
According to the lady’s father, he was kidnapped with other passengers, who were beaten by the kidnappers.
During a conversation with one of the kidnappers, a woman revealed that ₦700,000 had been gathered, but the kidnapper, who hails from the Northern tribe, insisted on the full ₦5 million ransom payment.
In the post’s caption, the lady appealed to Nigerians for assistance, regarding the abduction of her father.
