A video that was posted on the official YouTube page of Channels TV on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 has captured the moment the former governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi was urging Nigerians to join the ongoing protest at the National Assembly.
In the video, the former governor of Rivers state said that the members of the Nigeria Police Force won’t be able to overpower the protesters if they are more.
Rotimi Amaechi stated that people need to come out and demand for real time transmission of polling unit results. He said members of the ruling party don’t care much but Nigerians must force them to do the right thing.
According to the former governor of Rivers state;
