Verydarkman Bombs Kwam 1 Over Airport Incident [VIDEO]
Vincent Otse Martins, fondly called Verydarkman, has taken a swipe at fuji veteran Wasiu Omogbolahan Adewale, also known as Kwam the Ultimate, over a controversial scene at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
The online activist responded to reports that Kwam 1 blocked an aircraft from taking off, sparking security concerns and causing a delay for other passengers. In a video shared via Instagram on Friday, the 8th of August, 2025, Verydarkman didn’t hold back as he described the dangers of such behavior, especially in an airport setting.
“In as much as I respect Kwam the Ultimate as a leader, pioneer, a father and a big music legend, the truth needs to be said. If na advanced country we dey, dey for detain Kwam for putting his own life at risk as well as other people on that plane.”
He warned that standing in front of a moving plane could have ended in disaster.
“Imagine as that plane dey turn, the propeller con blow Kwam or imagine as the pilot trying to dodge Kwam she collides with another plane, therefore putting the lives of those people on that plane at risk, just imagine,” he said.
He also pointed to the ripple effects of flight delays, noting that scheduled departures aren’t just about convenience; they often connect to serious personal and professional obligations.
“A lot of people don’t know this but flight business has to do with time, anyone booking a flight is expected to leave at a specific scheduled time. So Kwam the Ultimate standing in front of that plane is obviously stepping on people’s right.
Some people on that plane have a life-changing opportunity they are scheduled for, some may have been going somewhere for medical attention. But because Kwam stood in front of that plane they couldn’t meet up with that time,” Verydarkman explained.
The incident has since sparked debate online, with many questioning the lack of consequences for such conduct. Kwam 1 was reportedly involved in a standoff with airport officials after allegedly refusing to follow standard security procedures.
