The University of Ilorin has sanctioned 13 students for various acts of misconduct, acting on the recommendations of its Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC).
The decisions were reached at the SDC’s 227th meeting held on October 9, 2025, and were conveyed to the affected students in letters dated December 22, 2025, copies of which were obtained by the UNILORIN Bulletin.
According to the letters, six students were expelled with immediate effect, six others were rusticated for one academic session, while one student received a formal warning.

The expelled students were directed to surrender all University property, including identity cards, and were barred from accessing the campus. They were also informed of their right to appeal to the University Council through their respective deans.
