US Nigeria airstrikes

It would be recalled that the United States government had carried out an airstrike in Nigeria on terrorists in Northwest Nigeria.

The reports have stirred mixed views from individuals who have continued to react to it.

Congressman Riley Moore speaks

According to the lawmaker, the recent strike represents an initial step in addressing what he described as the ongoing slaughter of Christians, as well as the wider security crisis affecting Nigerians across religious and ethnic lines.

He cautioned that the resolve of the Trump administration on the issue should not be underestimated, stressing that the operation signals a tougher stance by the United States in support of Nigeria’s fight against terrorism and violent extremism.

Moore added that additional measures may be taken if the security situation fails to improve.

He said …

“President Trump has been clear that the killing of Christians in Nigeria must end.

As I stated at the outset: Do not test President Trump‘s resolved in this matter. Tonight’s strike in coordination with the Nigerian government is just the first step to ending the slaughter of Christians and the security crisis affecting all Nigerians.”
