TSM Publisher Condoles Mayor Igbokwe Over Mother’s Death

The Publisher of Timnews Signature Magazine, Apostle Chuks Alozie, has expressed deep sympathy to the United Nations Mayor of Peace and Chairman of Don Media Group, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (popularly known as Don Lulu), over the death of his mother, Dame Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe.

In a condolence message on Wednesday, Alozie described the late matriarch as a woman of rare kindness, warmth and exceptional character, whose life touched many within and beyond her community.

Alozie said Dame Igbokwe lived a fulfilled life defined by unwavering faith in God, compassion for others and a strong commitment to family and community values.

“On behalf of Timnews Signature Magazine, myself and my family, I extend our heartfelt condolences to you in this moment of grief,” he said.

He described the deceased as “a strong, industrious and exemplary Christian woman… morality personified,” adding that her legacy was evident in the character and humanitarian commitments of her son, Mayor Igbokwe.

Alozie commended the media entrepreneur for sustaining his mother’s ideals through his consistent investments in youth development, job creation and philanthropy across Nigeria.

While praying for the peaceful repose of Dame Igbokwe’s soul, Alozie urged God to grant the family strength and comfort during their mourning.

The TSM publisher recently paid a condolence visit to Mayor Igbokwe at his country home in Umuawa Alaocha, Umuahia North LGA, alongside APC chieftain and former Chief of Staff, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu.

Dame Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe died on October 18, 2025, at the age of 60 after a brief illness. She will be buried on 10 January 2026.
