“Tinubu, Shettima being Muslims is ‘genocide in disguise’ to Christians” – Rev Dachomo

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a senior leader in the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), has said that the Muslim leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima amounts to “genocide to Christians in the political world.”

He made the statement during an interview on The Morning Brief on Channels Television.

 “Is That Not Complete Genocide?”

Speaking on alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria, Rev. Dachomo questioned the religious composition of the country’s top leadership.

“Shettima is a Muslim, the president is a Muslim. Is that not complete genocide to Christians in the political world?” he asked during the live programme.

Cleric Accuses FG of Pushing Islamic Agenda

Rev. Dachomo insisted that the nation’s leadership is pushing an Islamic agenda aimed at dominating the entire country.

He urged Christians to pay attention to political shifts and remain firm in their faith.

“They are displaying Islamic agenda. They want to control the whole country. All Christians should wake up from their slumber and face the Bible because these people want to make every Christian to become Muslim by force,” he said.

Rising Tensions and Security Concerns

The COCIN leader also spoke about rising tensions in several parts of the country.

He warned that Christians cannot remain silent as insecurity persists.

“We don’t sit on it. We have seen it. Can you see this thing hanging? Look at how it’s moving towards Kwara. Can’t you see what’s happening? Did Kwara people kill their cow or do something? And they will paint it that it is reprisal,” he claimed.

Call for Christians To ‘Wake Up’

Rev. Dachomo stressed that Christians must act now to protect future generations from what he described as attempts by Islamic extremists to seize control of the country.

We cannot continue to stay quiet because I can’t hand over my grandchildren to Islam. There’s an agenda of these Islamic terrorists to take over the country, and the nation is sleeping and doesn’t want to use those who want to help tackle this insecurity,” he said.
