‎President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after cutting short his working vacation ahead of schedule.

‎The President’s aircraft touched down at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday.

‎He was welcomed by top officials, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa among others.

‎The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Tinubu had departed for France on Sept. 4 for part of his annual holiday, with plans to also visit the United Kingdom.

‎Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga in a statement had said that the vacation will last 10 working days.

‎While in Paris, Tinubu held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.

‎Both leaders reviewed key bilateral issues and pledged to deepen cooperation for mutual growth and global stability. (NAN)
