According to a report by the Punch News on Sunday, February 26, 2026, Aramide Ademola, the wife of the late Prince Kazeem Akinloye, who was killed along Chevron Drive in the Lekki area, revealed that the only way this country, Nigeria, will not fail her children is if whoever killed their father is brought to justice.
Aramide Ademola says it’s been 18 months since her husband was brutally murdered along Chevron Road. She’s been in denial since then and has found no closure. But for the first time in 18 months, she’s beginning to accept he’s truly gone.
She commends the police and civil society groups and wants the fight for justice to continue without bias or delay. She said her kids are still young, but in a few years they’ll start asking questions. The only way this country won’t fail them, she added, is if their father’s killer is brought to justice.
