The Only State That Has An Uninterrupted Power Supply In Nigeria Is Aba, In Abia State – Asogwa

In a recent interview on The Pod Volume, Senior Special Adviser on Media and spokesperson to the Chairman of the Labour Party, Ken Asogwa, discussed developments in Abia State and the party’s governance record as part of efforts to showcase its performance ahead of future elections.

According to Asogwa, “The only state that has an uninterrupted power supply in Nigeria is Aba, in Abia State,” highlighting improvements recorded in the commercial city under the administration of Alex Otti.

He explained that the progress in Aba’s electricity supply reflects the impact of focused leadership and deliberate policy implementation. Asogwa noted that reliable power remains one of Nigeria’s most significant infrastructural challenges, stressing that consistent electricity supply has strengthened business activities and improved economic stability in the area.

He said the achievement demonstrates what can be accomplished when governance priorities are clearly defined and effectively executed. According to him, the development in Aba serves as an example that other states can study and potentially replicate in their own jurisdictions.

Asogwa further stated that the Labour Party remains committed to promoting practical solutions to national challenges, especially in areas such as infrastructure, economic reform, and institutional strengthening. He added that the party is working to consolidate its structures nationwide in preparation for future political contests.

He emphasised that governance performance will remain central to the party’s message, arguing that tangible results, rather than rhetoric, should define political leadership in Nigeria.

The spokesperson concluded that the developments in Aba align with the party’s broader vision of delivering measurable progress at both state and national levels, describing the power supply improvement as a significant milestone in demonstrating effective public service delivery.See_More…
