Teachers and pupils of Wesley United Primary School in Iworo, Omuo-Ekiti, Ekiti East Local Government Area of Ekiti State, are appealing for urgent help.
The roof of their school was blown off, leaving classrooms flooded, unsafe, and unfit for learning.
A video circulating on social media showed children struggling through waterlogged classrooms while teachers tried to scoop out dirty, green-stained water.
Since the roof collapse, lessons have stopped completely, as both pupils and teachers now spend their time clearing water instead of learning.

Teachers recount ordeals
Teachers said they had to spend the whole of Monday morning removing water from the classrooms.
They fear that the weakened structure could collapse at any moment, putting the lives of pupils and staff in danger.
Community members react to the unexpected incident
Members of the community described the condition of the school as a disaster waiting to happen.
With no roofing sheets, pupils are left at the mercy of heavy rainfall, while stagnant water inside the classrooms has turned green, creating serious health risks.
Parents expressed worry
Parents said they were worried about sending their children to the school, as the building could fall apart at any time.

However, they noted that the children had no other place to go, describing the situation as a sign of long-term neglect.
Residents explain the state of the school
Residents explained that the school had been in poor condition for many years.
According to them, politicians often visit during election campaigns, take photographs, and promise to fix the problem, but nothing has ever been done.
Now that the roof is completely gone, the children are suffering more than ever.
Teachers, parents, and local residents are now calling on the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, to urgently step in and rescue the school.
Message to the Ministry of Education
They also appealed to the Ministry of Education, international aid groups, and philanthropists to provide support where the state government has failed.
Community members warned that if no action is taken, the building may one day collapse on pupils, which they are trying to prevent by speaking out.
