Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a renowned Islamic cleric and former military captain recently reacted to the comments of a United States lawmaker regarding the ongoing conflict with Iran. According to the statements which were shared on his official Facebook handle, he disclosed how the United States was dragged into the avoidable conflict.
The recent escalation in the conflict between the United States forces and Iran generated mixed reactions from different quarters after top Iranain officials were taken out through series of coordinated airstrikes.
However, while many believed the conflict was unnecessary and called for a ceasefire, a United States lawmaker made a stunning comment that unearthed a disturbing truth regarding the instability in the middle east.
According to his now viral statements which had garnered widespread traction across various media platforms, the United States lawmaker disclosed that Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu waited for forty years to drag them into a war with Iran.
He further argued that the reasons given to justify the conflict, now spearheaded by United States military were plausible as the Iranain regime had no missile capable of threatening them.
He also argued that the Iranain regime lacked the powers to destabilize the middle east, an explanation which was used to sanction the vicious airstrikes.
