A young man has sparked reactions online after sharing his painful heartbreak story about his girlfriend’s alleged betrayal.
The story was shared on Facebook by Auntie Momoza, where the man recounted how he unexpectedly discovered his partner with another man.
Shock Discovery
According to the man, he visited his girlfriend’s house unannounced, only to find her with another man.
Rather than cause a scene, he said he controlled himself and quietly walked away, but later broke down in tears when he got home.
Girlfriend’s Reaction Sparks More Pain
The man revealed that what hurt him even more was her reaction after the incident.
Instead of reaching out to explain or apologise, she allegedly sent a brief message stating that she would send her cousin to pick up her belongings from his place.
He added that she showed no remorse and later told him to communicate with her mother regarding matters concerning their child.
Three-Year Relationship Ends Abruptly
The man explained that they had been together for three years and share a child.
He expressed shock over how quickly everything ended.
In his words: “Please keep me anonymous. I visited my girlfriend’s place unannounced and found her with another man. I managed to control myself and walked away. I got home and cried myself to sleep. I’ve been together with her for three years and we have a child. I expected her to call and try to lie or something, but she only sent me a text telling me she’ll send her cousin to come fetch her stuff at my place. My heart just sank. It seemed like she didn’t even care I caught her in action. No remorse, zero. Her cousin came to fetch her things and that was it. The last text was to tell me that anything to do with the child I must communicate with her mom. I have never cheated or mistreated her. I’ve tried my best to be a wonderful boyfriend and great dad. For her to betray me like this? With a married man? This life neh!!!…”
