Nigerian Man Reacts, Blames Regina’s Mum
After claims surfaced that Regina Daniels had temporarily left her matrimonial home due to alleged mistreatment, a Nigerian social media user identified as @chris_dior reposted the old interview, calling out the actress’s mother.

Rita Daniels Defends Her Daughter’s Decision
In the video, Rita Daniels defended her daughter’s choice to marry at a young age, stressing that Regina made the decision on her own.
She condemned those who criticised the union, saying people often judge what they don’t understand.
Rita maintained that she had no right to stop her daughter from following her heart and compared Regina’s marriage to that of other women who face challenges even with younger partners.
In her words: “Nonsense people wey dey open their gutter mouth dey talk. Regina told me that she wants to marry at a young age. Them say my daughter marry old man. I never see where person dey drink panadol for another person headache. Did the small girl cry and tell you that she was forced into marriage? Na love o. And me as her mother no get the right to tell her not to love.”
The reposted video by @chris_dior stirred massive reactions online, with many users weighing in with their thoughts.
