Days earlier, Regina Daniels had allegedly cried out over domestic violence in her marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.
A viral video showed the actress surrounded by men, with her brother stepping in to defend her against alleged thugs reportedly sent by her husband.
In response to the controversy, Ned Nwoko publicly denied the assault allegations, claiming that his wife was struggling with “drug and alcohol abuse,” which he said had strained their relationship.

The actress’s mother posted a light-hearted video on Instagram, where she and Sammy West, Regina Daniels’ brother, were seen joyfully dancing, a move that many social media users described as “insensitive,” given the recent reports surrounding Regina’s troubled marriage.
