There have been several reactions from the general public and particularly social media users after the former governor of Anambra State and erstwhile Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi was captured in the burial ceremony of renowned clergyman, Rev Uma Ukpai in Abia State.
Reverend Dr Uma Ukpai, a respected clergyman was recently laid to rest in his hometown in Abia State. However, many converged on the International Conference Center, Umuahia to pay their last respect.
The ceremony, which attracted several dignitaries from all spheres of life became a national discourse given the pedigree of the personalities present.
The former governor of Anambra State and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi was among the dignitaries present, including the governor of Abia State, Alex Otti and Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe.
Peter Obi, in the aftermath of the ceremony, took to his official X handle to share heartwarming footages from the event, accompanied by a striking comment regarding the legacy left behind by the clergyman.
According to his statements, he pointed out that Reverend Dr Uma Ukpai touched many lives and left behind an enduring legacy. Uma Ukpai, According to Peter Obi, was a man of humility and an embodiment of humanity.
